Sheridan Luckett, no not like the hotel. More like my mother named sherri and father named dan, put their names together and got sheri-dan. I am a daughter, a sister to a twin brother named colter. We look nothing alike. And a younger sister to Quinn- who passed from schizophrenia- and might I add was a gift to this world. A dancer, a life long student, a mother, a wife, a friend, a repairer. Repairer as in I love to fix things from furniture to relationships, behaviors, ideas and others. I do not believe others need fixing that’s why I say repair, some people (including myself) need nurturing to find their way back to their authentic self. Just like an outdated piece of furniture, it is not trash or worthless; it is in need of some nurturing to help its natural beauty to shine and to come back to life. I too want to shine and to be the best version of me and by being open I find this is the best way to be for myself and for my children. it’s no fun staying the same anyhow.
